Over the years, I’ve switched between different browsers, always searching for one that truly fits my needs. I wanted something that supports Chrome extensions, has vertical tabs, is reliable, secure, fast, manages memory well, and looks good too.
Last year, I settled on Arc from The Browser Company. It checked all the boxes and offered a lot of customization. But as time went on, Arc didn’t gain much popularity and was eventually set to be replaced.
That’s when I discovered Dia, the new browser that’s now in beta. I’ve been using it for a few weeks, and I’m genuinely impressed. The built-in AI features are a game changer. With Arc, I had to rely on Chrome extensions like Voila and Merlin for AI tools, but with Dia, everything is built right in. It’s much smoother and saves time.
One of my favorite features is the AI sidebar and chat. I can easily summarize articles or chat with YouTube videos without leaving the page. It’s so much faster and simpler than juggling different extensions.

Another handy tool is chatting with open tabs. Just mention the tab using “@tabname” and ask your question. For example, I use Protonmail and can quickly ask Dia for an overview of today’s new emails.

The writing tools are also really helpful. Instead of switching to another app, I can draft, edit, and polish my writing directly in the browser. If I need to fix grammar or improve a sentence, I just ask Dia, and it’s done—no more copying and pasting between apps.
Dia isn’t just for writing. It’s also great for learning and research. If I’m reading something and want to dive deeper, I can open the chat and ask questions or get explanations right away. It keeps my workflow smooth and uninterrupted.
I also use Dia to generate emails, articles, scripts, and more—all without limits. It can pull in information from web pages or YouTube videos, making the content even more relevant.
On top of that, Dia can help with coding. It’s not perfect for complex projects, but it works well for simple tasks.
Overall, Dia has quickly become a key part of my daily browsing. Its seamless AI integration and focus on productivity make it stand out from any other browser I’ve tried. If you’re looking for a browser that adapts to your workflow and makes everyday tasks easier, give Dia a shot. It might just change the way you browse.
